Cinder the rat.

We live in Saskatchewan, Canada and have an unusual pet.

Her name is Cinder and she is a rat.

People often think of them as vermin or dirty animals, comparing them to mice.

Nothing could be farther from the truth.

They are clean, smart, trainable and make fantastic pets.

Does anyone else have a pet rat?
